composer and veteran Music educator Sten Hostfalt . Known for a thoroughly documented innovative
contribution to the creative New York City and Global Music scene alongside some of the most prolific
players in Modern Music, and at the most influential venues of our time, since the early 90's. And for 25
years of work as a professional educator, faculty member and clinican at some of the world's leading
institutions for modern music eduaction. Including The Royal College Of Music in Stockholm, one of the
world's oldest music conservatories. And alma maters New England Conservatory Of Music, and Berklee
College Of Music. Workshops and Educator Assignments in Argentina, Sweden, Slovakia and U. S. A. And
most recently invited to hold a Nov. '09 Microtonal seminar at The New World School Of The Arts in Miami,
Florida. Directing his own very popular Upper Manhattan New York City based workshop NYC Guitar Studio
since 2006, and since '07 contributing to the for decades world famous East Village Music culture as an in-house
guitar, bass, mandolin and ukulele teacher at First Flight Music. Sten Hostfalt was just added to NY Jazz Academy's
teacher roster. Where among the colleaugues are Sonny Rollins legendary drummer of choice, Pete ( LaRoca ) Sims.
